Dolphins Records by Decade

The Miami Dolphins entered the NFL in 1966 and within six years became the first and only team to enjoy an undefeated season from opening kickoff to final Super Bowl whistle.

Since the departure of legendary Hall of Fame coach Don Shula, the Dolphins flirted with contention under coaches Jimmy Johnson and Dave Wannestedt before free falling into the NFL’s lower reaches in terms of success and overall industry respect. There they remain, with a new, young head coach, in Adam Gase?

Can Gase, the latest hot NFL coordinator, restore this team’s winning ways?

He certainly made good on that promise, leading the team to a Wild Card spot in his rookie season.
